In deze pseudo-politieke satire op de narcistische cultuur van onze tijd kijken Arne Luiting en Mateusz Staniak naar de Nieuwe Frankenstein. Digitalisering, de alomtegenwoordigheid van controle en eindeloze representaties van onszelf creëren een echokamer - de simulaties van de werkelijkheid die echter lijkt dan echt. Authenticiteit en uniciteit worden de valuta van deze holle uitwisseling. Deze schijnbaar immateriële en transcendente ruimte biedt immoraliteit in de instortende wereld. De vraag die in Future Gore gesteld wordt gaat over de andere manier van zijn in deze onrustige tijden.

Future Gore is an ironic reflection on a utopian body of the 'post human', moving through the ruins of human civilisation.


In this pseudo-political satire on the narcissistic culture of our time, Arne Luiting and Mateusz Staniak look at the New Frankenstein. Digitalization, omnipresence of surveillance and endless representations of ourselves create an echo chamber - the simulations of the reality that appears to be realer than the real. Authenticity and uniqueness become the currency of this hollow exchange. This seemingly immaterial and transcendent space offers immorality in the collapsing world. The question posed in Future Gore is about the other way of being in these troubled times.
