In de intieme setting van een huiskamer ontvouwt zich een gelaagde choreografie waarin alledaagse objecten symbool staan voor ons fundament. Dansers gebruiken meubels als hun speelveld, terwijl ze een verhaal van verbinding, emotie en menselijke interactie vertellen in een vertrouwde omgeving.

Veiligheid en geborgenheid

Stap binnen in de wereld van Home, een adembenemende voorstelling die onderzoekt wat er gebeurt als het vertrouwde fundament van een fysieke plek, een persoon of structuur wegvalt. In Home staat ‘het huis’ symbool voor meer dan een fysieke structuur van een woning. Het staat symbool voor stabiliteit, veiligheid en geborgenheid. Wat gebeurt er als dat gevoel van veiligheid verandert en noodgedwongen plaats maakt voor gevoelens van verlies en onzekerheid? 

In Home brengen dansers de complexiteit van deze ervaring tot leven, waarbij de voorstelling laat zien hoe het voelt als die stabiliteit verdwijnt. Tegelijkertijd verkennen de dansers de ruimte voor groei en nieuwe mogelijkheden die in onzekere tijden ontstaan. Home neemt je mee op reis en zet je aan tot nadenken: wat betekent thuis voor jou?

Denden Karadeniz

Denden Karadeniz is als danser bekend van tv (SYTYCD) en van ISH (Elements of Freestyle, Jungleboek), maar hij is daarnaast ook choreograaf en oprichter van Zero Dance Theatre: het eerste hiphop / contemporary fusion gezelschap van Nederland. Met zijn roots in de battle scene, ervaring op televisie en liefde voor theater creëerde hij zijn eigen unieke floorwork techniek (Zero) gebaseerd op een mix van breakdance en contemporary, die hij nu over de hele wereld doceert. Denden won in 2024 de Victoriefonds Cultuurprijs in de categorie Podiumkunsten. De voorstelling Home komt tot stand onder de vlag van ISH Talent.

CaDance Festival

Den Haag gaat los! Van 16 t/m 25 mei schudt het tiendaagse CaDance Festival de hele stad op met dans en beweging. Van Skatepark tot Amare, en van The Grey Space in the Middle tot hoofdlocatie Korzo; door de hele stad proberen we wat los te maken.

Deze editie zie je makers en gezelschappen als Astrid Boons, Compagnie Tiuri, Faizah Grootens, Lloydscompany, Tú Hoàng en genres als dans, circus, fysiek theater, film en alles daartussenin. Van 4 t/m 20 maart scoor je via de early bird ticket 30% korting!

Denden Karadeniz

Denden Karadeniz is known as a dancer from TV (SYTYCD) and from ISH (Elements of Freestyle, Jungle Book), but he is also choreographer and founder of Zero Dance Theatre: the first hip-hop / contemporary fusion company in the Netherlands. With his roots in the battle scene, experience on television and love for theatre, he created his own unique floorwork technique (Zero) based on a mix of breakdance and contemporary, which he now teaches all over the world. Denden won the Victoriefonds Cultuurprijs for the category performing arts in 2024. The performance Home comes about under the wings of ISH Talent.

The Hague is about to go wild! From 16 to 25 May the ten-day CaDance Festival shakes up the city with dance and movement. From Skatepark to Amare, and from The Grey Space in the Middle to main location Korzo; we try to loosen things up throughout the city.
